Saddle Stitched Leather Clutch

The leather in this unique clutch comes from New Zealand cowhide. The saddle stitching is a nod to the artisan, Sarah Bracks', grandfather who was a saddler. It's also much stronger than other stitching. Thread is waxed polyester and finished with a nickel fastener. 

Sarah makes all pieces by hand. Her pieces last a lifetime, with the leather aging beautifully. After years of use and wear, the leather develops a softness with various tones.
