Saltbush Living Lisière Tea Towel
A tea towel that actually dries, instead of pushing water around your bench.
The Lisière is woven from 100% Belgian linen, one of the most absorbent natural fibres you can bring into a kitchen, and it's built for the kind of everyday use a real household puts a tea towel through. The more you wash it, the softer and more absorbent it gets, so one good linen tea towel can genuinely outlast a whole drawer of cotton ones.
At 50 x 70cm, it's a generous size for drying dishes, lining a bread basket, or draping over an oven handle, and the quiet, restrained pattern means it looks right wherever it lands. Machine washable, made to be used daily, not just admired on a hook.
Meet The Maker
Saltbush Living is the work of Natalie Chadwick, who left a corporate career to make homewares that are slower and more considered. The name comes from the saltbush plant, tough and unassuming, thriving wild along our coastlines and open plains without any fuss. That same quiet resilience runs through everything Natalie makes, pieces chosen for what they offer day to day, not for how they photograph. The Lisiére Tea Towel was where the brand began, and it's still the one she'd hand to anyone.
Sustainability
Linen is a naturally hardy fibre that needs less water to grow than cotton, and it gets softer and more absorbent the longer you use it. A well-made linen tea towel like the Lisiére is built to be used for years, not replaced every season.
