Meet The Maker

Founded in 2009 by husband and wife team Feeona and Troy Baalham, Uimi creates a beautiful range of slow fashion and textiles using only natural fibres. From extra fine Merino wool to Egyptian and Cashmere cotton, every piece is designed to be soft, breathable, and long-wearing. Proudly made in their Thornbury factory in Melbourne, Uimi pieces are created with care, made to be worn, loved, and passed on.

Sustainability

Uimi is committed to working with renewable and biodegradable fibres including Merino wool, Egyptian cotton, and Cashmere cotton. By choosing only natural materials and producing everything locally in their Melbourne factory, Uimi minimises environmental impact and ensures every piece is made responsibly, from fibre to finish.
