This delicious cake recipe was shared by a dear reader, Shirley, who is almost 80 and sent me the most beautiful message after reading our newsletter.
She wrote, “You are so right about being kind to yourself. We spend so much time trying to be better and yet are so harsh on ourselves. I look back on my life as an almost 80-year-old and have many regrets and wish I could change a lot, but at the time, we’re not thinking about the implications.”
Shirley shared this recipe with me so of course I had to bake it and share it with you all too! Shirley uses the exact recipe and studs it with frozen raspberries before cooking. I didn't have any raspberries so I used blueberries! Thanks again Shirley ♡
