This Christmas, we’re celebrating the beauty in small gestures. The handmade, the heartfelt, and the thoughtful pieces created with love by small makers near and far. It’s something that has always been at the heart of Tomolly — supporting creatives whose work tells a story and sharing those stories with you.
From handmade ceramics and leather goods to locally baked biscuits, fragrant candles, and small-batch preserves, each piece in this collection has been chosen for the story it tells and the heart behind it.
Our Small but Meaningful collection brings together a community of makers whose pieces capture the spirit of slowing down, connecting, and giving gifts that carry true meaning.
Each one is made with care and intention, crafted in small batches by people who pour their heart into what they do.
Sarah Bracks – Leatherwork with Heart
Handmade exclusively for Tomolly by the lovely Sarah Bracks, these leather pieces are crafted with care and intention. Sarah’s love of leatherwork began in childhood, watching her Pop work as a saddler in his shed. She still remembers the smell of leather and the way his hands moved with such skill and patience.
Years later, after her Pop passed, Sarah was given his tools. It was then that she began creating her own pieces, honouring his craft in her own quiet way.
What began as a simple conversation in the shop years ago, when Sarah mentioned she’d made the beautiful bag she was carrying, grew into a special friendship and creative collaboration. Each piece is made by Sarah in small batches using quality leather and a thoughtful, hands-on approach. Her work reflects the same warmth and authenticity that we love sharing at Tomolly – simple, timeless designs to be treasured for years to come.

JK Clay – Embracing the Beauty of Imperfection
Created by Janette of JK Clay, each ceramic piece is a quiet celebration of the earth and the art of slowing down. Working from her home studio in Noosa, Janette creates small-batch vessels and homewares that are rustic, organic, and beautifully timeless.
Her love of clay began in her teenage years, drawn to its raw texture and the grounding rhythm of the wheel. After many years in the corporate world, she returned to her passion, establishing her own ceramics studio and embracing the joy of creating pieces that let the clay speak for itself.
No two pieces are ever the same. With natural tones, gentle glazes, and simple organic forms, Janette’s ceramics bring an earthy calm to any space, each one a reflection of her love for the craft and the beauty found in imperfection.
The Flour Miller’s Wife – Homemade Biscuits from Manildra
Handcrafted by Em in the country town of Manildra, The Flour Miller’s Wife biscuits are filled with warmth, nostalgia, and local goodness.
Each batch is baked using ingredients from nearby producers – Little Big Dairy Co milk from Dubbo, Jones Bros Eggs, Australian butter, and honey from Whipple & Co in Molong.
Em’s biscuits celebrate the region’s finest flavours and the joy of homemade baking, just like the ones you grew up with. They’re the kind of treats that bring people together – perfect for sharing over a cup of tea or gifting to someone special.

A Celebration of Small Makers
Alongside these favourites, our Small but Meaningful collection also features beautiful pieces from other talented creators, including handmade soaps by Raw Batch, beeswax candles by By Her, pottery from Berrima and Good Hope, Rocky Road and preserves by The Country Plate, local honey from Chapo’s Raw Honey in Young, candles and room mists by Southern Wild Co, and small-batch jams and chutneys by Tall Poppy.
Each maker brings their own story, their own hands, and their own heart to their craft.
Together, they remind us that Christmas doesn’t have to be big or complicated... it can be small, thoughtful, and filled with meaning.
